Picked up a 32 oz growler from the taproom 10-23-24 for $6.00. Also enjoyed two pints that day. Reviewed 11-1-24.
Beer poured amber with a beautiful white head.
Nose is toasted malts and spicey hops.
Taste is very nice as the toasted malt base gives notes of honey and caramel. Hopping has a nice earthy spiciness that balances perfectly and leaves the post sip aspiration that says authentic German brew.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall, this is really well done by the brewer Witt Lanning! I may need to grab another growler before it disappears for the season!

Draft pour via side pull tap at the brewery served in a mug. The beer pours very bright medium amber with sticky light khaki head. The head stays via the constant steam of carbonation rising from the bottom of the mug. Not much aroma, just a hint of rye like spice and possibly citrus. The taste is semisweet with notes of citrus and earthy hops over a subdued caramel malt base. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall, good, well made, tasty lager, but not even an honest attempt at an American oktoberfest...
