Had a 10 oz pour while visiting the brewery on 5-19-24 for $6.00. I have not come across too many North American brewers who can nail this style down like the Belgians do. This had the look and nose of a Tripel and the taste had some of the light fruit esters but overall was a tad off. The biggest thing i notice from N.A. brewers is that the feel is always heavier than what i hoped. I plan on revisiting this summer when we move closer to the brewery.

Purchased as a 6oz draft pour from The Blue Door for $3.50.
L - Clear rust orange, with a thin pale white head. Good lacing.
S - Toffee, candi sugar, and allspice. Hints of clove & candied orange peel.
T - Right off the bat, it's sweeter than expected. After the initial ethanol wave, I get notes of candied orange peel & brown sugar. Slight hoppy spice. Clean. Finish is that of spicy toffee.
F - Medium in body, with little carbonation. Viscous. Warming, yet drinkable. Not exactly a sipper.
O - I've got to say, I'm not exactly a fan of this - it's way too sugary! Nearing the consistency of syrup, the brew itself is hidden away by the sugary notes. If you're a fan of toffee Torani syrup with a splash of orange bitters, then this is the brew for you. I won't be getting this again, but I'll finish the glass.
