A: cloudy; pale gold in color; less that a 1 finger big bubbled ivory head that receded quickly to a wispy cap with a very thin collar; OK lacing;
S: grapefruit with a hint of tangerine in the background;
T: muddled citrus up front; tangerine from the middle through the finish; grapefruit zest in the aftertaste; mild bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish; soft;
O: good, but not something I would choose again;

At the brewery on Main St. Po-town.
Just another in a long boring line of hazy, over fruity and over sweet murky pale ales found, well, everywhere.
Bright, murky yellow with a white head of sticky foam.
Aromas of grapefruit and more grapefruit followed by tangerine and rotting guava.
Flavor is sharp and acidic with firm bitterness and obvious 8% abv.
Mouthfeel is light for a big beer and the gunky oat-wheat texture clings to my tongue - makes me want to wipe it off with a towel.
Finish is tart and acidic with lingering, surprise surprise - grapefruit notes.

This cans says it’s 8% and calls itself a “DIPA”
Tall can from the Source in Poughkeepsie…no dating info to be found.
Hazed pour, under a lasting and loose light tan cap.
Soap/ginger/mango kind of notes on the sniff.
Delicious take on the style, again I get coriander, ginger, mango, and lime on the palate…delicious and inviting brew. Well worth seeking out this and other offerings from this quality brewery
