Not usually my kind of beer but it came highly recommended so....
Clear, bright yellow with a sparse, low white head and specks of lace.
Aroma is sweetish with a good dose of tropical (mango?) fruit notes.
Candy-like sweetness in the nose up front folded into fruit and grain aromas and flavors to follow.
Nice balance of grain sweetness and fruity juice notes underneath. Blonde-amber in character with distinct but not overwhelming or cloying fruit flavors.
Body is near medium but it's the finish that sets this apart - gentle pepper heat and flavor, good grassy hop bite but it's the subtle and lingering habanero pepper kick that brings this home in a bueno way.
