This ESB has a nice copper color, but with a small head, which covers the sides of the glass with plenty of thick lace. It's nose has a mild maltiness to it. It's body is thin to medium, with a medium-mouthfeel. A tad sweet to start, with some caramel touches, fades to a mild hop finish. A good session-bier, easy to quaff! (Originally reviwed 23JAN02).
