It took 3 visits to finally get a bartender that knew what this brew was. In fairness, it's not advertised on the chalkboards or in any menu - you have to know it's there. That said, here's my review:
A - Interesting plain black bottle with a stick on PC type address label with info. Poured a cloudy orange brown color with a light carbonation and minimal head.
S - Citrus leaning towards orange.
T - Mildy sour, with a nice malty body base. The citrus / orange smell was definitely there in the taste but rather than dominated by orange, it was more of a orange / sour apple fruit taste. Very nice on a warm spring day.
M - light and tart. Tastes went down nicely without a long lingering effect.
D - Very nice brew. Drinks very easily after spending time outside on a warm spring day.
I had some reservations when I first heard the word sour used to describe this brew. A couple of off the charts belgiums will do that if it's not your thing. After trying this one, I must say it is a very drinkable refreshing brew. It's on my must order list for when I go again.

This beer was part of there special reserve selection available at the brewpub from only from the bottle. Was presented in a plain black 12oz. bottle with a stick on lable detailing its name and ABV. Poured from the bottle into an oversized flute glass the beer was a rusty light brown color with a slight fizzy head and no lacing. Some carbonation clung to the glass throughout the sample.
The smell was of sour fruit with apples, lemons, and oranges all in the nose. A fresh and clean scent with a touch of wheat as well.
The taste had a crisp slightly sweet fruit taste that was quickly balanced with a slight stinging sourness, bit more of a tart flavor (alla sweet tart candy). Fruit presence was easilit detectable with soft citrus flavors but more predominant apple and lemon-grass with hints of wheat here and there.
Mouthfeel was light, crisp, and rather carbonated resembling seltzer water levels. Also had the dryness of seltzer int he finish.
A very enjoyable offering and one that would make an excellent summer beer. Crisp enough to quench one's thirst with tart fruit flavor and balanced enough to enjoy and have more than one. This is a well done beer.
