Small sample from the tap at the source.
Hazy dark straw color with a minimal head. Aromas of spice and wheat with hints of nutmeg and spice. Light sweet bready malt aromas. The flavor is sweet malt with a hint of clove and pumpkin spice. Light spicy malt/yeasty flavor. Well its a pumpkin brew, and it didn't suck. Honestly its one of the better pumpkins I've tried, but still nothing I would personally seek out. For reference I am not a pumpkin beer fan!

This is a nice hybrid beer, a classic German wheat beer with spices and pumpkin flavor.
I wish my serving was in a Weizen-style glass but alas it was poured into a standard pint glass, oh well. It's a nice clear yellow-golden color with a signifigant, well-retained white head. Very active and lively looking.
The nose is actually very complex for a Wheat/fruit beer, it's got a classic wheatie malt scent with several spices and a subtle, sweet pumpkin scent.
The flavor has a wonderful balance of light, wheat malt flavor, holiday spices, nutmeg, corriander and slight brown sugar with a rather robust pumpkin flavor, all very well rounded and a light, refreshing quoff. A really nice session beer.
This brew is right on and the single most enjoyable Pumpkin flavored beer I had '08.
