Type: 16-oz. can

Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $4.99
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 25, 2022
Consumed: June 25, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Grabbed a bunch of cans on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Liquid Gravity’s website called this a “Citra and Mosaic DDH West Coast IPA - A bitter, moderately strong American pale ale that uses its clean, supporting malt to showcase its hop character.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with six fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up form the bottom of the glass. World-class uneven foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled nice with a little more Citra than Mosaic. In order got Citra, bitter grapefruit rind, tangerine, peach, pineapple, pine, lime, melon, Mosaic, floral, mixed berry, passion fruit, Juicy Fruit gum and grass. Smelled even better from the can with Citra still dominating. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Citra, bitter grapefruit rind, tangerine, peach, pineapple, pine, melon, lime, Mosaic, floral, mixed berry, passion fruit, Juicy Fruit gum, mint, grass and black pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really liked this West Coast IPA. Glad I grabbed a can. (Overall - 4.25)
