16oz can purchased from the brewery, sold as a single at the Jenkintown Night Market for $7. Canned on 07/17/2023, so this is just over two months old.
Look: It has a nice look to it. Hazy golden, orangey color. You can basically see through the beer at the bottom of the snifter. Nice lacing. There was a finger of whitish head on the pour, but it basically dissipated to just a thin ring around the rim. The beer became opaque after I swirled and poured the bottom of the can.
Smell: Nice aromas. Citrus including grapefruit along with fruity berry and strawberry notes. Lots of orange zest and juiciness also. Chewable vitamin notes and a bit of chalkiness after swirling the glass. Seems simple yet effective.
Taste: Tasty. It starts out pretty smooth and tame, and then it gives a quick, subtle bitter kick on the finish that then quickly ebbs. Lots of orange zest and juice notes. After pouring the bottom of the can, the flavors became a bit more muddled and more difficult to identify distinctly, and the flavors also became more intense. The beer has a bit of acidity, which I like. Up front, it tastes so much like orange juice (and it kind of looks like orange juice), so it's really tasty and also a bit weird. There is a mildly to moderately bitter finish lingering.
Feel: The beer has soft, gentle carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. I think that there is a bit of hop burn though.
Overall: This is a decent NEIPA. Having had a few of Human Robot's lagers, I would say that this style is not the brewery's forte and I would recommend that patrons heavily lean on their lagers instead of IPAs. However, it is nice to see that the brewery are flexible and willing to adapt to current beer trends and produce a nice hazy NEIPA.

opaque yellow orange color, thick white head, good head retention. Hop aroma leans towards fruity berries. Similar taste, with a mild bitterness. Fuller bodied, soft mouthfeel

Cloudy pale orange with close the three fingers of sudsy white head. Moderate retention and soap-bubble lacing.
Delicate aroma of vanilla, berries and tropical fruit.
Similar tropical fruit, berries and creamy vanilla taste. Some lime, too, and maybe a hint of pine needles. There’s no discernible bitterness but it avoids being too sweet.
Smooth, luscious, surprisingly thick-bodied feel with a nice underlying fizz.
This is superbly crafted beer. Worth seeking out.
