on draft at the Jenkintown location, served in half liter pilsner glass
yellow in color, fairly clear, thick white head. great head retention. Definitely a bit more fruity and floral than a traditional pilsner. crisp, well balanced, easy drinking but perhaps a bit more refreshing than their Hellertau Pils.

Pours a cloudy golden straw color. Mildly effervescent. Thick, three finger sudsy white head forms on the beer then dissipates leaving no residual head. Sticky lacing coats the glass.
Aroma has notes of lemongrass, generic herb garden notes, dough, white bread, peppercorn, and some dried grass.
Taste has notes of white bread and pilsner malt giving way quickly to a prominent hop presence. Hops present notes of lemon grass, white grape, white wine, dried herbs, and some light peppery/spicy notes on the back end. Light bitterness on the finish.
Feel is light, crisp, easy dinking. Smooth, moderate carbonation.
Overall a solid, nice "New Zealand pilsner" - the hops do work well with the pilsner base.

Lightly hazed gold with two fingers of lightly-yellowed foam head. Good retention and soapy lacing.
A bit more fresh hops in the nose than I like in a pilsner. They have a herbal mint quality. A little pepper and dough, too.
That herbal-mint quality carries over to the taste, coupled with some light doughiness and a modest pilly bitterness in the finish. Definitely has a Czech-style roundness to the edges.
Full bodied for the style with light carbonation.
Not my personal favorite flavor profiles here, but still a very well-crafted lager.
