Close to two fingers of off-white, tannish foam, surface pocked with crevices and crannies, once it settles in the retention is pretty good and it leaves a solid streak behind the former surface line. The liquid is a hazy yellow but not full-on puree. The nose is soft and easygoing, filled with tangelo citrus, pineapple, nectarine, peach scents and something lactose to whipped cream like in nature, dankness comes more to the fore once it has warmed some, pine sap, overall more pungent than a lifting breeze. Close to full-bodied, carbonation on the soft side, weight on the palate noticeable. Can’t shake the “orange creamsicle” profile. Juicy tropical and orchard fruits, touch of melon, no bite. Strikes me as minty at times. Likable for the resonance of the flavors but in terms of feel it falls flat. As a result, even with the relatively low ABV, don’t think I’d challenge myself to more than one can in a sitting. (NO CANNING DATE)
