Near black with a very thin, grey-hued tan head. Minimal lacing.
Strong cinnamon and smokey pepper in the nose, with some chocolate and stale coffee behind.
The chocolate in this is rich and tasty. There’s a hint of vanilla in there, too. Sweet cinnamon combines well with the smokey pepper that gives off some decent heat. Moderately roasty finish with a little acerbic coffee.
Medium bodied with a silky feel.
I was at first tempted to say the mummy beat Human Robot here, but the beer really improves as it warms. The chocolate and cinnamon seem particularly high quality.
