Pours a clear copper-amber color with a thin finger of light tan head that settles into a much thinner cap than clings to the sides of the tubinger mug.
Smells of fresh baked bread with some light cherry and mint and just a hint of sulfur.
The taste has some of that same lightly sweet, bready maltiness, joined by a kiss of smoke. Moderate bitterness in the finish.
Soft and medium bodied feel with some zip to the carbonation.
Well constructed. The smoke, albeit very light, still isn’t my personal favorite element.
