A supremely drinkable dark lager, kissed with the essence of our favorite digestif. We blended a fresh dark lager with one that has been aged on oak and a blend of spices from Vigo Amara. The spice blend is delicately balanced with the flavor of the beer, adding depth and aroma without either one dominating the other. We brewed it as a three way collab between Human Robot, Di Bruno Brothers, and Philadelphia Distilling.

Many thx to The_Kriek_Freak for this can!

A - Dark chestnut colored pour with dense, frothy cream colored sticky lacing.

S - Dark malt with some light earthy spice.

T - Dark malt with some delicate smokey chocolate character, some dry oak, and light spice. Finishes nicely balanced and pretty clean.

M - Big medium body that's lighter around the edges and with prickly carbonation that gives way to a softy finish.

O - This is a pretty fantastic Lager worth checking out.

Human Robot Brewing "Dopo Cena"
16 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON: 12/04/23 415" and sampled on 04/06/24
$4.99 @ Di Bruno Bros., Phila., PA

Look: A clear, very dark brown body is capped by a finger's width of khaki colored foam.
Smell: Dark malts with a hint of spiciness.
Taste: Cleanly fermented. Darkly malty with some milk chocolate, dried dark skinned fruits, and an edge of smokiness. A mild spiciness doesn't reveal much more than some cinnamon and nutmeg although there's clearly more to it. There's not a lot of sweetness to the malt to begin with, this is just 4.8% ABV, and it finishes dry, woody, and lightly spicy, earthy, and mineralish.
Feel: Light-medium in body and crisp with a zesty carbonation.
Overall: Interesting but rather delicate.
