Franconian Style Leichtbier - Brewed from floor malted Vienna malt, and hopped with a blend of fresh and aged hallertau mittelfruh hops. Welp is a flavorful, low alcohol version of our Burgenstraße. We brewed this beer to drink while the sun is out. Tailgates, barbecues, picnics, or just sitting on the steps, watching the city go by.

On tap at Human Robot in Jenkintown, PA.
This one pours a very light yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like crackery and minerally, and lightly spicy.
This is definitely tasting like it’s lower ABV, but it’s really well constructed all the same. There’s a clean minerally bitterness, and just a hint of malt character. Even though it is definitely light bodied, I’d hesitate to call it thin, really. It’s crisp and smooth and goes down easily.
This is just about one of the better light lagers that you’ll have. It’s got actual flavor and it’s unbelievably drinkable.

Pours a medium golden color, thick white head. Great head retention and lacing. Aroma is earthy hops and mildly toasted malt, mineral water. Similar taste, enough depth of flavor to be interesting but still easy drinking. Thin to medium bodied.
