Brewed and lightly dry hopped with CZ Most hops. Most is an aroma variety with Czech, UK, and American roots. This hop is a bridge between modern and traditional varieties. We used a single decoction with floor malted Czech pils and a touch of munich. Krausened in the package for a little extra natural carbonation. Herbal/citrus aroma with a touch of strawberry vines and hay. Collaboration with Hollingbery and Sons hops.

Clear sparkling gold, after a faint chill haze dies off, under a puffy but short off-white foam head.

Toasted corn, cornbread, cracked wheat, whole grain bread--I don't even know what exactly. But it's contrasted by such a boldly drying bite, grassy or herbal? Again, I can't even put my finger on what makes a beer so damn flavorful and quaffable in cases like this. That's often a recipe for perfection, in my experience.

Feel start frothy but fluid at the same time, then cleans up immediately, going down slick but then finishing bone dry just as quickly, begging you for more, right now. Just this very minute.

Oh my fucking god that's delicious. This is why beer can be so fucking good. It's all the same fucking shit that's in anything else, but how the sum of its parts become so much more expressive in clarity and intensity is just beyond comprehension. Like, why can't they all be this good? Because, I guess, they just fucking can't.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a 4-pack for $16 directly from the brewery. Canned on 06/23/2025, so this is exactly 5 months old.

Look: Pours a nice medium gold color with lively carbonation. There was two fingers of a rocky off-white head that receded to a thin layer. Nice clarity. A very subtle haze showed after pouring the rest of the can.

Smell: Very nice nose - notes of fresh cut grass, apple/pear notes, and a touch of spice. Also fresh lemony notes. The aroma is evoking apple pie vibes. Nice crisp, crackery malt coming through as well. Very pleasant.

Taste: Very tasty - it's super crisp, dry, refreshing, and crushable. Up front, the flavors very much mirror the nose with the fall spices, grassy notes, and apple/pear flavors. The finish has a mild to moderate bitterness that lingers long. The flavor also has a mild acidity that enhances the taste, in my opinion. I like how the bitterness seems to build in this beer. I also get a more prevalent lemon zest/pithy note on the finish. The flavor is nicely balanced between hops and malt - it's by no means sweet and it's not overly hoppy or bitter. The beer is basically in perfect balance with itself.

Feel: The beer has decent body. It's light to medium bodied. Very crisp. Nicely carbonated.

Overall: It's a very nice Czech Pale Lager, basically everything that you're looking for is here. Unfortunately, I haven't had so many others in this style. I really enjoyed Sacred Profane's Pale lager and I also enjoyed Human Robot's Czech 10° (review forthcoming). More American breweries should brew this style of beer. What's stopping them?

Look: Clear straw with a gorgeous large foam pack from the Lukr faucet pour.

Smell: Ambiguous berries. A kind yeasty cake note. Don’t love it.

Taste: Gently fruity in a nondescript sort of way. Not sweet exactly, but certainly not dry.

Feel: Nice creamy body.

Overall: This one is a miss for me. Most is described as a hybrid between new and old worlds and it kind of hit me as the worst of both.

Hazed light amber bronze with two fingers of creamy light tan head. Great retention and solid lacing. Delicious orange and skunk in the nose. Light toast, much lighter orange, mild bitterness. Soft feel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant.
