never heard of these guys before my boy shared this gorgeous bottle, thought i had good knowledge of all the wild ale makers in the seattle area, apparently not! neat beer, not enough grisette out there, really pale, yellow to light golden with a gorgeous fluffy inch of white head thats peaky and lasting, fizzy carbonation. aroma of lemon, piquant mixed fermentation type character but real subtle too, and maybe a bit of rye spice, certainly earthy dry cereals that have had a lot of their character brought into this, fresh but also mature. super light to drink, definite white wine notes, almost seems like it has some wine blended in, dandelion, lemon balm, meyer lemon zest, faint vanilla, white pepper, a unique saison type ester, faint white peach, pleasingly grainy most of the way, dry and fast finishing, bready, dry for being this flavorful on the grain side, floral and citrusy late, a little young tasting on the ferment but also distinct enough to stand out, and overall absurdly drinkable, refreshing even for being so complex, well integrated and subtle and with great carbonation. a really fun beer, likely to age pretty well, at least for a few years, and it has me super curious to try more from these folks. next time in seattle for sure! thanks to my buddy for sharing this, really impressive.

8oz pour at the brewery. On phone.
Mostly clear, small fine head, amber-gold. Smell is banana, spices, sweet earthiness.
Taste is similar, maybe lighter, more of a grain character.
Mouthfeel is medium but very effervescent. Overall, very nice.
