Attic Brewing Co. "La Libertad"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's a mostly clear golden beneath a finger's width of creamy white foam. I'm going to guess that it's right around 3 SRM. Tiny bubbles can be seen swiftly rising but the head has already dropped. It still has a thin but solid surface covering though, and there's some nice lacing where the head once stood. To be honest, that's kind of expected for the style, and the lacing is better than ususal. In the nose it's clean with grainy and grassy malt and just a touch of lager yeast sulphur. The flavor follows with some additional lemon and spiciness. It's also quite clean and you can tell that it spent some extra time in the tank. In the mouth it's medium bodiedand crisp with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation. All in all this is a finely done version of a Mexican lager. If it had fingerprint-through-the-glass clarity it would be perfect.
