Clear light bronze with a half-finger of creamy, tan-tinted head. Settles fairly quickly into a thick, lasting crown that leaves decent lacing.
Pineapple, pine and light citrus in the nose.
Strong piney bitterness and pepper in the taste, backed by some similarly strong sweet candied orange and a little pineapple. Kiss of alcohol as well.
Medium bodied and creamy feel. Moderate carbonation.
Nice to see a crystal clear beer. The sweet orange mixed with the strong bitterness isn’t melding well for me, though. A subpar estimation of the older-school doubles like Chillwave, Waldos, Resin and others in that class.
