Attic Brewing Co. "Unbounded"

$5 at the brewery on 11 September 2021
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's a very cloudy but not murky golden in color benath an inch and a half of bright white foam that falls back steadily but leaves some very nice lacing in its place. The aroma is brightly citrusy with orange, grapefruit, and lemon backed by pineapple and a little bit of sweetish grainy malt. There should be no surprise that it tastes as the aroma suggests it will. I'm finding the lemon to be more lemon-lime though, and there's a berry-like note emerging as it warms a bit. Ahh, I'll say there's some apricot and passion fruit to it as well. It's a little earthy and grassy, but not really "dank" or resinous. The bitterness is moderate but stiff, and it finishes dry with lime, berries, resin, and grapefruit lingering softly. The malt appears to be the standard 2-row base malt/flaked oats/wheat that's most commonly used. It's quite pleasant and remarkably refreshing. In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body and crisp-then-smooth due to all of the extra proteins. In the end I have to say that this is another win for Attic out of the 4 or 5 NEIPAs that I've sampled from them.
