This was a great pour which emptied a pint can of its contents. The sixteen fluid ounces now temporarily reside inside a clear glass liter mug. The brew is brightly copper-amber, on the dark side and more translucent than opaque. The modest off-white head seems to be enduring. In short, it looks just like a Vienna Lager should. It smells malty, with some earthy hopping. Tasting more malty than some, isn't a problem. The same maltiness makes this cross the palate as smoothly and richly as just about any Lager can. The earthy hops can be found in modest measure during the finish. There's not much glass lacing produced, but this is about as good as anything within the style can be.

pours clear dark copper color, white head. toasted malt aroma. similar flavor, fairly good balance. thin to medium bodied, medium to high carbonation.
