It's much cloudier than the standard American Pale Ale, as it rests inside a clear glass liter mug. The stark white foam on top indicates there's some wheat and/or oats in there, likely oats, to fog things up. The color of the brew is dull and dark dirty blond. It's opaque. This smells much like an APA, with some fresh starches and hops. That began with cracking open a pint can. The taste is less than stellar for the style. The hops are citrusy and shallow. As anticipated, the presence of oats gives this an adequate body, but it's at the expense of some unpleasant stickiness in the mouthfeel. There's almost no glass lacing and sorry to say, almost no reason to try this one. The taste is clean and modestly hoppy, but compliments stop there.
