Attic Brewing Co. "Year 4 2024 Barrel Aged Barleywine"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
While there's no head to it the body is a beautifully clear dark brown. Sweet malt greets you in the nose; no hops are present. It's clean and welcoming. The flavor follows. It's rich with golden caramel, medium-dark reddish caramel, nuttiness, Ovaltine, oak, and a suggestion of milk chocolate. There's enough bitterness to it that with the dryness from the oak it's balanced and not cloying. What a beautiful sipper this is! The body is full-medium, and it's remarkably smooth with a very fine-bubbled, moderate carbonation. I've go to get more of this!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
