Deep amber/light brown color with great clarity. Small white head with patchy lacing left behind on the glass. This smells like trail mix to me with nutty malt and just a touch of raisin fruitiness at the end. Tremendous balance and drinks on the lighter side. Really nice brown ale for a style that doesn't get enough love these days.
