Murky orangey amber body, khaki head that slowly dies down. Toast, mild Munich malt, wispy yeast in a faint nose. Taste is mild with thin malts, slight orange slice, and faint bready yeast. Feel is thinner and smooth, malty but bland in there are no contrasting or complimentary movements here

Canned on 8/28/23; consumed on 12/14/23
Pours a deep, nearly crystal-clear copper body capped with a finger and a half of off-white foam; solid head retention leaves a paper-thin layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, and light spattering of webby/spotty lacing strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aromas waft a rich dollop of wildflower honey coating the bouquet upfront, with tinges of caramel meeting a nutty malt undertone in the backdrop while taut minerality phases through notes of brown bread crust toward the close.
Taste offered honeyed brown bread upfront, with underscores of robust lager yeast leading to bread dough past the mid-palate and touches of minerality dispersing over the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and a spritzy fluff of moderate carbonation, easing a slight prickle into a slickly clean mid-palate as a steady texturing of soft roast persists through the back end and past the swallow.
Potent sweetness introduces a busy profile, awash in a vividly honeyed overlay as nutter malts and toasted nuance remain firmly in the backdrop; an unorthodox approach, yet makes for a satisfying Märzen all the same.
