A: Pours a clear yellow color. A two finger white head forms and recedes quickly. Light lace is left behind.
S: Fairly neutral in the nose, but I think that is the point. Cereal grains up front, then an interesting citrus and lemon peal aroma.
T: Like the nose, up front is cereal grains. Citrus and lemon peal, with an interesting...almost pepper minty flavor lingering around.
M/O: Certainly a light body, maybe a little too light even at the ABV. Though the supper carbonated, crisp, and refreshing effervescence counters that a bit. Also finishes dry. Of coarse easy drinking, and will probably come back to this when at the brewery again.
This is interesting, as it is a true session beer, and there wasn't a real good style category for this. While nice to have at the brewery, I can't see this standing on its own outside of that setting. Cheers to making a real session beer however, even if it is not perfect, still enjoyable.
