Pours a cloudy opaque golden amber color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. More of a sprucy aroma. Floral and malty. Malty, earthy taste. Floral with piney spruce. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

A: Pours with a touch of chilled hazed, golden/orange in color. A one finger white head forms, and recedes to leave some lace behind.
S: Aromatic and perfumy hops up front in the nose. Pine, resin, citrus/grapefruit peal. Classic IPA.
T: Like the nose, citrus/grapefruit peal. Resiny pine sap. A touch of caramel sweetness. This becomes a little too veggie like and green though. Even a woody flavor developing that I'm not the biggest fan of (and sometimes get with IPA's). Lingering bitterness, still enjoyable if not perfect.
M/O: A medium body and moderate carbonation. A little too earthy, which makes it not as clean as I would like. Not hard to drink, and not a bad IPA at all. Though there are better examples around.
The vegetal and woody and overall earthy tones keeps this from being a really well done example of a simple IPA. I still can enjoy it for what it is, and good enough to have a few at the brewery. Though a bit "flawed", if they clean this up a bit I can see me really enjoying this.
