el dorado and mosaic based hazy ipa here, juicy and fresh tasting to me, orange and papaya forward, some melon, quite tropical and alive, but not as distinct or as well refined as their plow chaser, which is more of a west coast style ipa, but for me the better of the two beers. its neat that these guys are doing such modern stuff, and i thought this one was good too, maybe a little bit of a weird fermentation profile to it, but the hops more than make up for any other shortcomings, el dorado in front of mosaic to me, but they do go together very well. some wheat likely in the mash, as the body here is a little fuller and it feels long and weighty to me, but thankfully not really over hopped. more carbonation would help this, as would allowing it to ferment drier, its not super drinkable like this, but if this is the necessary vehicle for this hop complexion, fine. more of a sipper, but the hops keep coming long after the swallow, and the slow pace of this is almost agreeable, even though thats not what i usually want in the style. its a little raw overall, but a solid beer, i think these guys are doing a nice job with the hoppy stuff.
