Canned on 2/9/22; consumed on 2/24/22
Pours an opaque, pale golden orange body capped with multiple fingers of rich, fluffy, white foam; great head retention yields a finger of creamy cap along with a moderate, frothy collar and a thick, layered pasting of webbing lacing coating over the walls of the glass.
Aromas of ultra-dank lime and papaya burst through atop a foundation of boggy resins, with waves of sweet, fresh guava underscored by pillowy, bready malt into a contrastingly citric orange tang and tangerine zest on the back end.
Taste brings peach at the front of the profile, sporting edges of mossy white grape and musty papaya as a distinct, cracked peppercorn dankness grazes the mid-palate; tinges of apricot jam amplify shreds of stone fruit nectar to balance a protruding lime zest and grassy orange peel into the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body with a moderate carbonation, creamy in texture with a light prickle into a fluffy mid-palate; a juicy twang intensifies into the backend, leaving a pseudo-bitterness soon easing to a level brightness of fresh resins and hop acidity.
A zestier impression of Galaxy, favoring a brighter hop acidity outshining the weighty, semi-juicy dank quality redolent of the most saturated of the Southern Hemisphere hops; admittedly less nuanced in that regard, though satisfying a more aggressively citric edge of the hop experience; another Fidens winner, even if not as focused as previous offerings.

Crowler from Fidens Brewing in Colonie, NY.
This one pours a very, very hazy golden yellow color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This is all Galaxy, so it smells great to me - there's passionfruit, grape, berry, and tangerine.
Ths is a big and wonderful Galaxy bomb, with loads of passionfruit and orange, and some kind of white grape-ish flavor, almost more like Nelson. There's a wonderfully exotic and tropical feel to this one.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and rich and wonderful, with a good drinkability.
I really need to keep my eyes on these guys. This is another banger.
