Fidens Brewing Co
IPA - New England / Hazy
Fluffy and lovely body. Thick earth and very grainy style hops. Very dry feel with the crunch of dried leaves (hops) in a big way. Easy drinking for so much complexity in feel and hop flavor. Grainy earth goodness all over the place.

Canned on 11/27/23; consumed on 12/14/23
Pours an opaque, glossy dark orange body capped with multiples fingers of fluffy, eggshell-white foam; solid head retention leaves a finger of sudsy cap, large, frothy collar, and ample array of chunky, soapy lacing spread around the walls of the glass.
Aroma wafts dank lime resins into lesser mango pith, with citric accents of orange peel and touches of passionfruit phasing through a sweaty hop tinge lingering across the bouquet over time.
Taste opens to dank lime zest and accenting hints of mandarin, with slight grapefruit peel engaging brighter tinges of passionfruit past the mid-palate as orange zest lingers through the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body and a rounded, moderate carbonation, dispersing a soft prickle through slick resins over the mid-palate as a subtle hop twang eases over the back end and into a juicy finish.
Cleans resins feed an amply lush hop display, though a wavering twang runs interference before the profile can peak; still an incredibly engaging NEIPA, even if not Fidens’ best.

Look - super hazy thick Milky yellow but nice head and sticky lacing
Smell - mango orange and slight yellow grapefruit
Taste - dank slight hop bite. More orange grapefruit from the initial with a slight mango. Dank and green
Feel - medium body with a medium fizz carb but some how sticky silky creamy mouthfeel
Overall - really quality beer

This no doubt is a New England IPA. A flaw of community sourcing.
L: A pale orange yellow. Hazy. Super hazy. Pours with an inch of tan/white head.
S: Citrus, orange peel, a little mango, some grapefruit.
T: Follows nose. A bit bitter, but balanced.
F: Moderate to high carbonation.
O: A real nice one. At 6% it was easy to have more than one.

On tap, pours a very hazy bright orange. Smell has tons of bright citrus and a touch of dank. Taste follows. Nice bit of bitterness in the finish. Awesome beer.
