Completely opaque murkbomb. Very attractive for the style. Retention is good; lacing is quite nice.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's gloriously hoppy on the nose. Huge citrus notes, some lush tropical fruit, and a slight bright green herbal edge.
Delivers on the palate, with tropical fruit up front, sharp citrus following, and a semi-sweet and balanced malt bill providing a solid foundation that doesn't overstate its presence. Drinks like a lighter imperial IPA than the ABV suggests it should. Tasting notes of mandarin orange, mango, papaya, cream. Super juicy.
Delightful beer!

Sweet pineapple tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and an earthy-citrus dank nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with an orange creamsicle and pineapple juicy, hoppy bitter finish. Not much difference between this and the regular IMO...outside of the color. The color of the last few regular batches of Eugene's Axe were world-class! Both outstanding!
