From a 16oz can dated 09/05….2023. Pours a dense, hazy amber yellow. Very pleasing nose of melon and tropical fruit. Similar palate but, as befits a TIPA, notable heat along with bitterness on the finish.

Canned 09/05/23-it pours very cloudy yellow color with a 2 finger thick foamy white head that was packed with bubbles of all sizes, dissipating very slowly and leaving really nice lacing on the glass. I could smell grapefruit, tangerine and lemon zest from 6 inches away from the glass right after the pour; it was like a fresh glass of citrus juice with a fine combo of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, orange juice, coriander, wet Citra hops, a burst of pineapple and a faint whiff of biscuit. The taste was just like the aroma with the bitter grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice and coriander coming through the strongest, with additional flavors like yeast and some dry floral leafy notes in the mix. The biscuit, lemon zest and some faint caramel also come through, as this TIPA is stupidly smooth and hides the 10% ABV so well it goes down like a session been. Could be the best beer I've had from Fidens

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, floral orange citrus, and an earthy-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a murky-soft, sweet malty, earthy-hoppy, and an orange juicy citrus bitter finish. Wow! This drinks so well and is very well-balanced...I am not the biggest fan of galaxy hops, but it was used really well here. This is great!

Canned on 12/16/21; consumed on 1/21/22
Pours a turbid, milky dark gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, white foam; great head retention fades steadily to a finger and a half of creamy cap, a substantial, frothy collar, and layers of dense, spotty/webby lacing coating the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to vibrant peach nectar and shreds of grassy resins, with a touch of creaminess easing the bouquet into the citric zest of tangerine; underlying rye spice coated in a limey twang over the middle finds hints of wilted jasmine and jackfruit before passionfruit and mango pith reignite a semi-sweet tropical density on the close.
Taste features mango skins and more prominent grassy resins peaking at dank nectarine before phasing into gritty peach nectar over the mid-palate; lime pith fades comfortably into orange pulp and grapefruit rind for a predominantly citric impression on the close.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-full body with a carbonation on the lower end of moderate dispersing a deceptively fluffy texture fusing to ample resins for a creamy mid-palate; into back end, a soft hop twang invigorates a juicy finish, while mild, underlying resins continue to bring a pseudo-silky grit lingering delicately.
An air of composure so seldomly achieved at the TIPA level; the hypersensitivity of amplified hop intensity is on confident display here, levying the focused attenuation of body structure foundational to upholding the skillfully bold flavors this beer insists upon; glimpses of harmony at the peak of an often overtly aggressive (sub-) style.
