Canned on 1/17/22; consumed on 1/27/22
Pours an opaque, glossy sunflower-gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, white foam; great head retention leaves a finger of creamy cap, a large, frothy collar, and expansive spattering of webby/spotty lacing spread comprehensively across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of underripe peach phase into mango vitamin before peaking with sweaty, grassy resins into boggy, dank weed; lingering impressions are somewhat floral, with flaky malts undertones finding orange zest and papaya through the close.
Taste opens to sweet peach and mango skins as silky resins glisten into dank weed in the distance and hints of bready spice tingle the profile over the mid-palate; a musty lime twang on the back end sees overripe papaya through a finish edges with mossy undertones.
Mouthfeel features a medium body and moderate carbonation dispersing a silky texture becoming a touch resinous over the mid-palate and imparting wisps of bitterness over the back end to a juicy peak enlivening the finish.
Slick resins and an abundantly fluffy texture perpetuate a focused, boggy intensity, an overarching dankness across an array of subtle, fruity undertones while maintaining perpetual drinkability; a quietly potent character carries another winning hop combo here from Fidens.
