Copenhagen 28/3 2026. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Snow landscape with a little farmhouse by a road on the can.
Pours opaque hay, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of over-ripe, fermented stone fruit mingling with sharp and zesty citrus fruit with a hint of pine. Mango and bruised peach. Whiff of turpentine. Grapefruit and lemon. Resin.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pronounced sweet undertone. Light touch of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
A pad just for me.

Canned on 4/5, poured 4/13.
Opaque yellow body, creamy rich mouthfeel, fruitful Danky flavor, extremely satisfying.
Edit: canned 3/3 poured 4/4/25 pours light golden yellow glug glug murk, rich 2 finger head , head retreats to a soapy lace on the glass. Aroma is soft tropical fruit: grapefruit, white grapes: taste follows the nose with lemon grasses, nice lime flavor. I brought this rating down to earth, still a spectacular offering from the supremely capable Fidens brewery!

Canned on 1/28/22; consumed on 2/11/22
Pours a turbid milky gold body topped with three fingers of rich, fluffy, white foam; great head retention leaves just under a finger of creamy cap, moderate, frothy collar, and a comprehensive spatter of spotty and webby lacing sprayed across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to grassy resins with edges of red grapefruit peel before a level extension of boggy, waxy white grape dankness fogs over the bouquet with layered precision, prodded with zestier notes of candied lemon peel and overripe clementine over time while maintaining a signature weedy hop underscore throughout.
Taste offers mossy resins meeting ruby red grapefruit upfront as a boggy dankness expands and imposes over the mid-palate, leading in white grape must against a bready yeast absorbing continually weedy undertones into the back end while soft lemon/orange zest brings a citric brightness to the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body with a fluffy, rounded spritz of moderate-high carbonation dispersing to a resinous glide and wispy grit into the mid-palate; a weighty texture is invigorated by juicy undertones, becoming creamy into the back end as the mildest bitterness is suggested, though never fully formed, through the finish.
Boggy hops and a stanky dank overlay course through this one, a near profound extraction of a singular sensory note serving to accent sweeter citrus and carry the profile at-large; brilliantly executed, refined, and an innately expressive hop display.
