3/23/24 Batch! Sweet orange zesty citrus, slightly malty, and a citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet orange-tangerine citrus hoppy and citrus-dank bitter finish. Whoa! This is so creamy and smooth on the palate! And this hides the ABV really well. This is really, really good!

Canned on 2/1/22; consumed on 2/18/22
Pours a turbid, milky golden straw hue capped with just shy of two fingers of creamy, white foam; solid head retention leaves a paper-thin veil of cap, moderate, frothy collar, and a near-comprehensive smattering of webby/spotty lacing layered densely across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of boggy mango glimpse toward mossy layer lingering beneath tropical orange zest, ripe white grape, with a soft wildflower honey amplification engaging weedy papaya and guava flesh for a bouquet effortlessly transposing dank resins and juicy tropical pulp in flux across the bouquet.
Taste opens to orange zest, mango, and candied grapefruit, welcoming an overripe papaya/pineapple brightness into waxy honey undertones peaking over the mid-palate as mushy guava and a soft, ripe dankness eases into the back end, dosed with tropical zest.
Mouthfeel shows a body on the fuller end of medium, with moderate carbonation fading to a delicate spritz into creamy grit over the mid-palate; an underlying, resinous tingle creeps through into the back end, where slick, resinous zest invigorates a juicy peak on the finish.
Citra focused at a higher amplitude ABV finds boggy dankness extracted from overripe fruits, cutting through residual sweetness with bright resins atop a pillowy texture; significant expression, pointedly amplified, and the type of unified balance that sees this TIPA flourish.
