Picked up a four-pack from the brewpub on 9-30-25 for $25.00. Split the pack with a buddy. Canned on 9-26-25; consuming can #1 10-11-25.

Beer poured turbid light orange with a nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.

Nose is citrus with stone fruit and herbal hops forward, very nice.

Taste is a moderate sized malt base in which the hopping brings peach, orange, and passion fruit up front. Finishes with a nice touch of pine and rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and so very soft and smooth.

Overall, gotta say this is a dangerously drinkable beer, so good!

Note: I added this beer, entered it as an IPA - Imperial based on the fact that the can describes it as a Double India Pale Ale. Fact is, it's a New England-style Double/Imperial IPA, so either classification (New England or Imperial) would be accurate.

A: Poured from the can into my Fiden's tulip. Body is very hazy golden with a wisp of whitish head on top.

S: Real nice nose of tropical fruit (mango, melon), blueberries, and some citrus (think oranges/orange peel).

T: Follows the nose, with sweeter tropical fruit - ripe melon, mango - blueberries, ripe peaches and some sweeter oranges all noted (think Creamsicle). No hint of the 8.5% ABV on the palate, though I feel some warming in the belly. Does finish with a touch of raw/green hops, which helps to offset the otherwise sweet offering.

M: Full-bodied in heft, carbonation is modest or non-existent, but it has a nice creamy feel to it.

O: This is a damn good beer that I'd match up against pretty much anything that Tree House brews. Best part is that the brewery is less than 10 miles from my house, and my kid used to have his baseball winter workouts in the next building. Buy local!
