Canned on 12/13/22; consumed on 1/10/23
Pours a turbid, milky sunflower-gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, soapy, white foam; good head retention leaves a half-finger of lush cap, large, frothy collar, and myriad webs of lacing coating the walls of the glass.
Aromas open to soft mango focused with a key lime twang as a sweet jackfruit dank washes densely over the bouquet, sporting accents of wet moss and musty passionfruit umami before easing to creamy papaya and pineapple subtleties on the close.
Taste brings dank mango and papaya skins against a subtle lime undercurrent, with wet moss over the mid-palate leading to semi-sweet grapefruit and earthy white grape esters on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body and a moderate-full fluff of carbonation; a creamy prickle supersedes as slick resins glide in quiet contrast over the mid-palate, with a juicy peak on the back end rounding to a drying finish.
The focused core saturation encourages an expansively dank subtext, surfacing with a creamy balance for a unifying tingle of fresh earth and silky hop detailing; yet another potent yet poignant display of NEIPA from Fidens.
