Appearance: Arrives a cloudy goldenstraw with a two finger head; solid retention and webby lacing
Smell: Pineapple and dank tangerine tones
Taste: Underripe pineapple forward with the dank tangerine mingling with a hint of grass; moderate to high bitterness in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; somewhat creamy with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I was expecting the pineapple to add more sweetness; it also lacked the juicy character I was seeking

Canned 3/6, picked up in Albany 3/7 cracked 3/16.. pours yellow golden milky murk with a sumptuous 2 finger head that is sticky lazy lattice down the glass. Aroma is danky tangerine delicious and inviting. Taste is again tangerine, sweet Citra hops explosion with grapefruit bitter, a hint of pineapple(?), definite dankyness. Feel is super creamy, sticky, smacky: dipa of the highest order. Yeah, Fidens is superlative!

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange-grapefruit citrus, overripe pineapple juice, and a hint of citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with an orange citrus hoppy bitterness and a bittersweet pineapple juicy finish. Hmmm...maybe the pineapple turned a bit while being transported? This is decent but I think the pineapple needed to be sweeter here IMO. It's like drinking juice made from an overripe/semi-sweet fruit...which clashes a bit with the hoppy bitterness on the backend. Based off of other glowing reviews, maybe it is just this batch or possibly just my can that tastes this way.

From a can dated 06/29/23. Could not be any hazier! Dense straw gold in color. Lots of tropical fruit on the nose and palate with, of course, pineapple as a dominant flavor. Smooth finish. A really delightful NEDIPA.

Canned on 1/4/23; consumed on 1/17/23
Pours a turbid, milky straw-gold body capped with a slight ¾ of a finger of creamy, white foam; mediocre head retention leaves a sliver of frothy cap, thin collar, and a limited array of webby lacing fading quickly from the walls of the glass.
Aromas of dank tangerine and bright guava meet orange pulp and grapefruit peel, with a pithy pineapple underscore showing a touch of sweetness as yonts of rose water finds clean, resinous white grape subtleties easing through the back end of the bouquet.
Taste opens to freshly-squeezed orange juice and a pithy pineapple contrast, with edges of bubblegum esters greeting fresh guava over the mid-palate while grassy undertones on the back end lead to slight white grape essence meandering through the finish.
Mouthfeel features a medium body and a subdued, moderate carbonation, dispersing a pseudo-prickle to a muddled twang over the mid-palate while a pillowy, resinous grit finds slickness on the back end and a juicy spurt encounters minimal bittering lingering through the finish.
A flowing fruited contrast finds steady integration to the IPA, deftly infusing Jasper's lushly dank and fruity saturation with a fresh edge of juicy pineapple; a wholly competent detailing of an already impressive NEIPA.
