Poured from a pint can, the body is an opaque light yellow with white fluffy head. Good lacing throughout the tasting.

Aroma is a citrus delight with the Nelson and El Dorado doing the heavy lifting.

Taste follows nose but the citrus flavors are muted. Perhaps muted too much. The light dank and cannabis of the strata is lurking but not prominent. No bitterness as style suggests.

Very soft mouthfeel and good carbonation.

An enjoyable NE IPA and easy drinking at 6.4%. I could imagine crushing these beers, but I can also imagine a better beer with the present flavors amped up.

Canned on 11/28/23; consumed on 12/22/23

Pours a glossy, opaque, pale gold body capped with a finger of a half of sudsy, white foam; good head retention leaves a rocky, slim layer of cap, larger, frothy collar, and myriad dispersion of chunky, soapy lacing strewn around the walls of the glass.

Aromas waft a boggy hop stank, countered tentatively with gooey orange Starbursts; wet sage and grassy resins take hold as the bouquet progresses, leaving spent white grape must as the herbal hop overtones steadily recede.

Taste opens to grassy resins and a tinge of lime zest, informing boggy dankness building through the mid-palate as layers of overripe citrus, zesty tangerine and lemon intertwine over the back end of the profile.

Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a subtle, modest carbonation, leaving a mild twang underscoring slickness into a juicy mid-palate, with an edge of creaminess lingering through the finish.

Falling short of full cohesion, a basic boggy undercurrent is all that unifies an otherwise appealing NEIPA rife with tendencies of overripe fruits and resinous impressions.
