Canned on 11/28/2023; consumed on 1/7/2024
Pours a turbid, glossy, deep orange body topped with multiple fingers of fluffy, white foam; good head retention leaves a slight layer of cap, moderate collar, and steady spatter of lacing caked around the walls of the glass.
Aromas offer notes of mango, orange slices, and peach upfront, with a healthy dank accent finding grapefruit and grassy resins over the middle, and slightly underripe pineapple alongside a thick papaya surge on the back end.
Taste brings orange Starbursts and soft melon to the forefront, leaving mango pith to counter grassy resins over the mid-palate as dank grapefruit lingers toward the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and modest fluff of carbonation; juicy texturing climbs to a slightly glossy glide at the mid-palate, while silky resins fade into vague bittering on the finish.
Smoothie-tropical meets a tentative, citric bittering in a burly hop torrent; intense, even raw at times, though welcomingly sweet when necessary.
