Bourbon Barrel-aged Nitro Imperial Stout with Toasted Almonds & Madagascar Vanilla Bean. Smooth, velvety body with decadent notes of rich bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, freshly roasted nuts, caramel and toffee. Accents of bourbon & oak on the finish with moderate bitterness balanced with some residual sweetness.

too carbonated. I like dryer stouts. great for an american imp stout. lots of flavour. chocolate, vanilla, fruity stuff. too high abv. can't have more than 1 and enjoy it. drinkability low. not the best taste when compared to irish dry stouts.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours black with a nice nitro head build to a finger of creamy light tan head, nice lacing, smell is bourbon soaked, almond cookies, meringue, vanilla, hints of cocoa and coffee, taste is bourbon, roasted dark malts, almond coffee, marzipan, vanilla cake/biscuits, feel is medium bodied, creamy, sweet. Bourbon, sweet almond, vanilla, and nice bitter roast character. A almond cookie dipped in bourbon spiked coffee with vanilla creamer.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high dense tan head that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of licorice are present in the nose along with hints of vanilla.
T: The taste is a little more balanced compared to the smell and has underlying notes of caramel, chocolate and hazelnut.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout has a nice smooth mouthfeel but the licorice seems to overpower the other aromas and flavors.
Serving type: can

Look -Dark and Oily. No light comes through.
Smell- Nutty Malty- Vanilla, Marshmallow
Taste - Heavy bitty roasted almonds with a bitter espresso at the end. Barrel is upfront with the almonds.
Feel- Smooth but not heavy
