Who loves dogs? We do! And we love cats too. That's why we teamed up with North Shore Animal League America, the World's largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, to help raise money for their life-saving work. Each 4-pack features real rescued puppies & kittens.
Maggie // Ollie, the first of several collaboration beers, is a soft, hazy, double dry-hopped IPA brewed with Strata and dry-hopped with Idaho 7 & Zamba. Bold aroma with juicy flavors of pineapple, strawberry, cantaloupe and lemongrass.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color and has some brownish hues. It poured with a finger high white head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away and also left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong flavors of pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and prominently features tropical flavors of pineapple along with hints of papaya. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The smell and taste of this beer are exploding with aromas and flavors of pineapple from the Zamba hops. I found this one to be very enjoyable.

Pours a hazy golden color. A fingernail length head retains well, lots of lacing.
Soft notes of tropical fruit are punctuated by aromas of citrus pith and juice. Notes of orange, mango, papaya, minty grass, and floral hops.
A soft and firm bready malt base gives off sweetness. Contrasted by gentle fruity/floral spices and with a gentle bitterness. Notes of mango, papaya, orange grapefruit rind, grass and earthy hops. Bitterness becomes more assertive and resiny further in.
Medium bodied with a soft and smooth mouthfeel. Finish is dry with a developing bitterness. Carbonation is easy going.
Opens like a pale ale with a big malty backbone and subtle hops spices. However, this IPA grows on you as the hops spices become more intense. I would have again.
