A classic American IPA brewed & dry-hopped with Chinook, Columbus & Centennial. Notes of citrus, pine, melon and dankness with hints of caramel & candied fruit. Balanced and appropriately bitter to style with a semi-dry finish.

Pours a clear amber (how about that?!) color, visible carbonation. A lathery head retains well and yields lacing.

The nose is teeming with hops. Bright citrus aromas include grapefruit, orange and lime. Herbaceous and dank, with notes of grass, pine, cannabis, as well as hints of melon and passion fruit.

In the taste, a full bodied malt backbone balances perfectly with sticky and resinous hops. Classic flavors of grapefruit, pine, grass, orange and lime. Notes of biscuit, graham cracker, honey, melon, peach and orange marmalade.

High medium to full bodied, yet, easy to drink. Mouthfeel is smooth, nearly creamy. The finish is dry with lots of nice resinous flavors. Carbonation is moderate.

Great take on a classic style. Classic WC flavors, lots of dank and juice, great balance, etc, etc. This is the type of beer that got me into beer back in the day!

A: The beer is relatively clear amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose along with underlying notes of caramel malts, melon, and pine.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of candy like sweetness from caramel malts and dankness/bitterness from the piney hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the mouthfeel with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a good representation of a West Coast IPA. I particularly liked the contrast between the malts and hops in the taste.
