On tap at Donnelly’s Public House in Fairport, NY.
This one pours a clear light orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like pine resin, marijuana, orange peel, tangerine, and stone fruit.
Wild East is exceptional at lagers and lighter beers, and I don’t think until now that I’ve had any of their IPAs. I appreciate seeing a West Coast style IPA these days. This is pleasantly bitter, but not overly so, with resinous pine and some dankness, some dried apricot/mango sort of flavors, more typical grapefruit, and some orange peel/pith.
This is light bodied, with a real smooth and refreshing finish.
This is basically exactly what I want when I’m thinking of a West Coast IPA.

A West Coast IPA from a New York City brewer!! They did a good job! I poured this beer from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass. Lightly hazy dark gold color with a small foamy, carbonated white head. Head retention was somewhat better than average and there was some foamy lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste featured a good amount of bitterness and some piney and mild grapefruit hops. Nice to taste something other than the New England IPA profile once in a while!! Mouthfeel was crisp and bitter, just right for a West Coast IPA. Well done!!
