Classic helles-style lager brewed with German malt & hops. Smooth, crisp pilsner malt, exceptionally balanced with herbally, gently spicy hops. Easy-to-drink, clean and refreshing with a soft, dry finish.

Pours a clear golden yellow, brief 1" head that quickly dissipates, modest lacing. Nose is light grass and hay, lemon, light hop. Taste start out well enough with grass and field notes balanced by moderately bitter hops, but there isn't much evolution on the palate, a lack of doughy notes, a slick mouthfeel, and a bit of off flavoring late on the palate. Nothing terrible, but for a subtle beer like this, it does stick out. Mouthfeel is crisp but oddly coating. Would like to give this one another go.

Canned July 5th. This blew me away on tap and so I grabbed a 4 pack.
A clear golden yellow with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is soft, bready, doughy, rustic and firmly hoppy. Clean, perfumey lemon and earthy hops are present. The palate opens crisp, clean, snappy with a nice earthy and lemony bitterness. The mid palate has a crisp, cracker like malt character that also has a slight rustic, doughy note. Drying, bitter, clean on the finish. Excellent stuff.
