A classic west coast style IPA brewed and dry-hopped with Mosaic and Eureka hops. Notes of orange marmalade, pine resin, stone fruit with some light caramel sweetness in balance. Medium-low bitterness with an off-dry, flavorful finish.

On tap in Chelsea NYC. As advertised. Good WCIPA. A little bitter at first which is not a bad thing. Some carbonation. Nice lacing on glass. Not a deal breaker but dull honey yellow color reminds me of lesser brews.

A very good WCIPA. The hoppy bitterness and undertones lingers quite a while on the palate.

There are offensive pours for American IPAs, but this is among the worst. The amount of stark white foam produced by merely attempting to empty the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug was ridiculous. Obviously, this is a wheat based IPA, in itself a contradiction. A single attempt to empty the can was thwarted by the excessive foam. Like most of its ilk, the foam recedes unevenly, unattractively and leaves irregular glass lacing. Obviously, demerits for look here. Experience tells that one of the cheap ways a brewery attempts to make a West Coast style IPA sharply bitter is to shortchange or lessen the quality or amount of barley malt in the wort. That would add some background layers of body and sweetness, which only the very good brews in the category can do. No counterbalance, no need to provide quality hopping. Other than that, the beer eventually looks OK. It's moderately hazy and lightly copper-amber. The aroma is vaguely piney/citrusy in the proscribed West Coast style, but it's not pronounced and there's nothing more. Surprisingly, there's a shallow sweetness that runs the entire tasting. It's not the earthy sweetness gotten from a good barley malt inclusion, rather a simple tasting sweetness that's almost sugary. The body is surprisingly supple and smooth enough for what it's asked to deliver. Eventually, this experience becomes an enigma. After a horrible pouring, there's a very commendable glass lacing. It's mouthfeel is better than many in the WCIPA category, which doesn't necessarily make it great. This is actually a pleasant beer drinking experience, but it doesn't have anything near the sharp hop bite of a good West Coast IPA. It's not a good nor bad West Coast IPA, As an ale in general, it's not so bad, not very good.

A good IPA!! Features piney hops...a nice change from all the citrusy NE flavors out there!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer has a somewhat hazy yellow color and a big foamy white head (hard pour) with good retention and some lacing. Aroma and taste are predominantly piney hops with a little orange and some caramel malt. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is moderately bitter and crisp. Not too light. Fairly dry finish, not that much fresh hops ore resiny aspect. Quite enjoyable, I would drink this one again

A: The beer is clear dark golden yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pine are present in the nose along with hints of mandarin orange.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the citrusy flavors of mandarin orange are a bit stronger and the hops also contribute a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that the taste of this beer had a nice balance between the citrusy and piney flavors from the hops.
