An American Pale Ale brewed with 250lbs of Cascade & Triumph wet hops from Conzella Farms in Wading River, NY. Moderately juicy, fresh hop-forward flavor with notes of nectarine, lime zest, peach and light caramel malt. Moderately low bitterness with a semi-dry, clean finish.

16 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a somewhat cloudy straw yellow color with a smallish head. Aroma and flavor feature resinous pine, citrus (lemon/lime), and grainy malt. Some astringency and more bitterness than I expected. Not bad or undrinkable by any means, but also a bit underwhelming.

This wet hop pale ale pours a foggy orange-amber with a robust 2" head that settles out after 30 seconds or so; good lacing, however. Nose is light caramel and honey; resinous, piney hops; crackers and spiced melba toast. Taste is slightly sweet and rather spicy, reminiscent of an old school East Coast IPA (thought slightly less malty) or English styles. Hop character contributes some moderate bitterness and earthy spice. Overall, a very balanced beer. Feel has medium viscosity, though heavier than expected given its relatively low ABV. Carbonation is light, giving this a creamy feel. Overall, this was pretty enjoyable.
