Collaboration with Good Word Brewing. Moderately malty with light sweetness, nutty notes of toffee and hints of caramel & light chocolate balanced with earthy hops. Finishes semi-dry with some residual malty flavor.

Pours a solid brown black with a half finger of creamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with a bit of lacing. Nutty caramel aroma. Taste follows nose.

Had on tap. Murky brown body with a fat finger of oatmeal colored foam. Caramel malts with toffee, medium toned nuts and cocoa in the nose. Taste adds a prominent general maltiness, a whisper of tobacco. Feel dries out through the sip, malty and light. Verging toward bland for the style
