A 12 ounce draft pour from the brewery served in a highball glass.
Look- Pale amber, white sudsy head, below average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Citrus, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Citronella, lemon, high strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, prickly, average carbonation, mildly mouth warming.
Overall- I was told that this was a barleywine with some essential oils by the bartender. This one was a miss for me. The citronella flavor of the beer was unpleasant.
