A light bubbly brew topped in a very thin white lace that is amost not even there. A light hint of apples is found in the aroma. Some bready smell in there as well, but really nothing special to my nose.
Tingly carbonation, hmm maybe this is a cider. Well, doesn' t seem to have a lot of cider or apple flavor. It doesn't seem to have any sort of flavor. Some light bready flavors in there. Wow, this is one boring watered down fruit beer.

"Did he say Cider Ale?" ElGuapo and I were hoping the current Krogh's seasonal was the Celebration Ale, but we got Cider Ale instead from the bartender. It arrived to us a light, golden color with a very thin white head -- did not last. Hardly any aroma, but a slight trace of wheat and apples were detectable. We were debating whether this was a cider or an ale. It's not sweet enough to be a cider, and the name implies an apple-like ale, so we figured it was actually an ale. Upon checking the website, I find we are correct. Flavor has some metallic notes to it, and slight traces of wheat malt. Apple flavor is not very sweet and rather subtle, but still very noticeable. Finishes slightly dry. Quirky, but not something I'd have again. Krogh's Oatmeal Stout, please.
